Well it's been raining.
NOTHING was planted this last weekend.
I got a lot of lounging/relaxing in though! :) And I even started reading a BOOK! (looking for the bright side of still being cooped up in the house, due to NON STOP RAIN.)
My hubby left for Eastern Oregon on Wednesday night of last week, for a Spring Bear hunt. He came home on Monday. So it was just the kids and I hanging out over the long weekend. Like I said, it's been raining and I ended up coming down with a cold on Saturday that had me lounging in bed most of the day on Sunday. It hit me pretty hard. I'm still a bit under the weather, but hopefully soon I will feel back to normal.
I've started reading "Gardening When it Counts" by Steve Solomon. The first couple chapters had me a bit, well how do I say it....bored. But now that I'm getting further into the book, I'm very excited about what I am learning. What it comes down to is....being wise about how you garden. I even think I will go back and read those chapters I got bored with and look at it differently, and gain some more knowledge.
Since I can't get out in my garden yet, I might as well read about gardening. :)
